The Cincinnati Bengals made a quiet addition to the roster in free agency just before training camp starts. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Bengals signed quarterback Desmond Ridder.
CINCINNATI — Former Bearcats star quarterback Desmond Ridder is coming home. Ridder has agreed to a one-year contract with the Bengals according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Ridder, a former third round pick, has started 18 career games. He gives the Bengals an experienced backup behind Joe Burrow and Jake Browning.
