Chelsea defender Levi Colwill says the Club World Cup “will be bigger than the Champions League” in the future. Colwill, 22, played the full game as Chelsea beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 during Sunday’s final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Germain will face off on Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium in New York, marking their first-ever meeting in a tournament final. Both teams earned their place by defeating South American powerhouses — Fluminense and Real Madrid — in the semifinals.

After a dominant run to the Club World Cup final, PSG looked like a shell of itself as Chelsea claimed the victory with a 3-0 rout. Cole Palmer opened the scoring for the Premier League side in the 22nd minute with a tucked finish to the bottom left corner, out of the reach of PSG goalie Gianluigi Donnarumma.
