Pierce County Sheriff's Department is currently investigating a suspected homicide after finding a man dead on a jogging trail Sunday afternoon.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a suspected homicide in Parkland, the department announced a little after noon Sunday. A man’s body was found on a jogging trail in the 13000 block of Yakima Avenue South, according to a social media post from the department.

PCSD is asking the community for help identifying the person and asking anyone who may know someone who has been missing in the last 24 hours that fits the description to call the police.
