Netflix’s newest crime drama Untamed just hit the streaming platform, presenting a gripping murder mystery wrapped in the gorgeous frontier of Yosemite National Park. Our Call: STREAM IT. The setting and unique law enforcement politics, along with solid performances by Bana, Neill, DeWitt and Santiago, make Untamed the kind of show you might turn on as a distraction instead of a show that requires close watching. But it’s an entertaining distraction, with just enough story to keep things moving.

Onscreen, at least, there are enough rangers to keep Yosemite running and to investigate a mysterious death at El Capitan.
