Aug 4, 2013 · Okay, the last few threads about varying coolant temps, causes etc had me wondering what the normal coolant temp range is once warmed up. I see mine fluctuate constantly on my MM from 185 to 210. Been like this since I got the MM. I even see 213-215 sometimes. What is "normal"?

Nov 18, 2024 · Diesel engines (especially Cummins) were are very reliable until the after-treatment emissions came along. In the case of Cummins specifically they went from flat tapped to hydraulic in 2019 and voluntarily lowered the reliability even further. The only thing you can do it stay on top of your oil changes and maintenance in general.

Nov 12, 2021 · Which oil is best for the 6.7L. I've always run 15W-40 in all my 5.9Ls year-round. I am looking over the 6.7L info; it says to run 5W-40. My summertime temps get close to 100, and Wintertime temps can get down to 0. Which oil is best?
