May 17, 2018 · I completely forgot about it all until I was 17. When sitting in a psychology class we went over childhood sexual abuse. Upon hearing the definition and understanding what it was a trigger went off and I had remembered what had happened. When I was a child I thought it was simply something that I had done and was ashamed so repressed it.

Jan 25, 2025 · And like I said, there is no way you can separate a societal view on what constitutes sexual abuse than with is actually sexual abuse unless it is universally experienced as such. So what is needed is to find what objectively all humans hold, regardless of culture, society, or individual as sexual abuse.
