The ATLAS Experiment at CERN has recently finalised the upgrading of one of the experiment’s sub-detectors, called the Small Muon Wheel (in spite of its 10m size, which is nothing but small!). In this teaser, announcing a live event featuring the detector, the new Small Muon Wheel is seen at the LHC surface hall, being finalised before being lowered 100 metres underground.
