University of Washington’s David Baker wins Nobel Prize for designing proteins

Professor David Baker’s work in computational protein design sounds a bit like science fiction, but it’s anything but. Through the use of artificial intelligence, Baker and his lab are creating proteins that will help tackle some of the greatest challenges in medicine, technology and sustainability.
